Cession Registration

Cession Registration is an act of transfer to enable the transfer of the right to claim to take place, accomplished by means of an agreement of transfer entered into between the cedent and the cessionary. It arises out of a justa causa (or intent), from which the intention of the cedent to transfer the right to claim appears or can be inferred and from which the intention of the cessionary to become the holder of the right appears or can be inferred.

Cession Cancellation

Cession cancellation is whereby the Cedent or Customer honoured his session and the yield of the Commodity is utilised to repay his debt in full.

Cession Search

Cession search for active sessions will action a search and favour the Cessionary or applicant with detailed information regarding active cessions which is still registered against a specific customer or Cedent by a certain Cessionary which is also registered on the Cession Central system.

Cessionary to Cessionary Cancellation

Cessionary to Cessionary cancellation will allow one Cessionary to request a cancellation of an active session of a new potential customer which is currently registered in favour of another Cessionary, also registered on the Cession Central system.

Cession Management / Reports

Different Searches will be available to a Cessionary which will assist to manage their entire Cession portfolio and simultaneously identify risk areas.

Cession Status Change

A cession's current status can be changed to one of the following:
Notification
Collection in progress
Cancelled
Enquiry
